Okay, Ubuntu 18.04 LTS is out. Nice. But still this Amazon-THING on the desktop!

I still install xubuntu for home users that want to replace windows, but personally use manjaro

I'm on Debian Stretch. At the moment, I’m hesitating to install an AppImage of the note-taking-application „Joplin". AppImages seem to be not very secure because of library-issues. But I need so much a good note-taking tool which runs on Linux, Android and Nextcloud. So, if anybody has a good suggestion, that would be nice.

At least they ditched Unity. But yeah, I switched distro years ago because of things like this.
